What a "dipomatic" question!
翻成白話文,也就是" How the hell can you expect peace when you're selling those
damned weapons!"
老師這時候就說了...There are some "fixed "characteristics to political languages.
They are usually extremely vague, extremely lengthy, extremely polite, and
often say bad things in a very good way.
他舉了一個英國外相的例子...
一位英國外相曾說"I was interviewed by a media that I was not particularly fond of."
Meaning..."I was interviewed by this media which I hate!"
Ha, now I know I'll never become a diplomat!
